Police Brutality, a Structural and an Institutional Problem

Why are so many black men and women are killed at the hands of the police, who are meant to protect them? It is because the police officers are racist? Is racism the only driving force of why so many unarmed African-American men and women are being killed?

In an interview with three different experts, it seems that the underlying cause of police brutality is not just racism but an “institutional and structural problem.”
