Is Anti-White Bias a Problem?

CPLE board member Dr. Sam Sommers and CPLE affiliated researchers Dr. Michael Norton and Dr. Victoria Plaut were recently featured in the New York Times for their cutting-edge work defining the current shape of discrimination.  For example, Dr. Sam Sommers and Dr. Michael Norton found Americans believe significant progress has been made in fighting against anti-black bias.  However, White Americans reported “progress as coming at their expense.” In addition, White Americans also perceive anti-white bias to be a bigger societal problem today than anti-Black bias.  To read more about the debate go to: http://www.nytimes.com/roomfordebate/2011/05/22/is-anti-white-bias-a-problem?ref=opinion
