Valerie Akinyoyenu serves as the Research Manager at the Center for Policing Equity. In this role, she provides administrative and research support to the CEO’s Office and the Science Team, which involves facilitating collaboration between CPE and Yale University, managing research lab meetings, and maintaining CPE’s research infrastructure.

Valerie earned a B.S. in Cognitive Science and Sociology with a certificate in Spanish from Yale College, where she contributed to research and nonprofit work addressing racial economic inequality, bias in policing, and immigration rights.
