Eugene Ebron

Eugene Ebron joined the Center for Policing Equity (CPE) in the fall of 2019 after a decade of work in Chicago with K-12 education. He primarily focused his work with school networks that served Black and Brown students from historically marginalized neighborhoods. Eugene served as the Managing Director of Operations. In this role, he led strategic planning, process improvement, advocacy, and operations.  His work in Chicago helped transform educational outcomes, and significantly closed the historic racial and socio-economic achievement gaps for students of color.

Prior to his work in education reform, Eugene spent time in D.C. with an advisory and advocacy communications firm conducting qualitative and quantitative research focused on corporate reputation and stakeholder engagement. Eugene earned his BA in business from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a MEd in policy studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
