D’Angelo Bailey

D’Angelo Bailey is a Major Gift Officer at the Center for Policing Equity where he engages meaningfully with CPE’s stakeholders. After graduating from Kalamazoo College with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, he worked as program staff for the Turn 2 Foundation’s Jeter’s Leaders program where he mentored students from kindergarten to college through civic, educational and professional activities. D’Angelo graduated from Western Michigan University with a masters degree in Public Administration after which he spent 4 years as Program Director for the Jeter’s Leaders before working in healthcare at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for 4 years. Upon attending Homecoming weekend at both his alma maters, D’Angelo was approached by Fund Development staff at both institutions encouraging him to consider a career in fundraising after successfully leading development initiatives in various volunteer roles. D’Angelo made the shift to full-time fundraiser in 2016 at Kalamazoo College and joined CPE in August of 2021. D’Angelo is honored to use his skills and life experiences in the movement to eliminate systemic racism.
